Alrighty, there it is. The second half of my little team The Drifters. Remy, Lorna, and Crystal. Best part about this team is they are legit a rainbow. Gambit is purple, Lorna is green, Crystal is yellow, then Pietro is blue, Wanda is pink, and Kurt is red. What a happy little rainbow team! The ages of this team range. Crystal is 16, Lorna is 17, Kurt is 18, the Twins are 19, and Remy is 21. Crystal is a spoiled little princess, you can just tell. Lorna is the team leader and doesn’t give a shit. Remy is a slut. Shame that slut. Shame on you Remy. This needs to be a story. I need to write this. Magneto’s hellions and their partners, team up to save the world, or whatever. But first, Crystal is gonna take a selfie.

Gambit’s patch on his jacket says “NO HOMO” big and then “sapien” smaller. because I crack myself up. He is totes homo. see, it’s ironic. Lorna has a lot of piercings, Always gotta have some metal with her. Her tattoo says “Mutant” in cursive script. and I want an x-men snapback, so this picture really is just me wishing I was Lorna. Crystal has little black circle cut outs on the bottom of her dress and a black headband. how fucking cute? and kitty cat stockings, because she is the skinny little walking fashion blog.

hope you all love. I’ll get a cleaned up actual scan up possibly tomorrow.  

I ABSOLUTELY love. I always felt that if Lorna was on X-Men: Evolution, she’d be a metal or punk rock type with lots of piercings. Looking forward to more!

I’m looking forward to when Marvel comes to their senses and we get to see the whole 616 family again in all its glory. ANXF will be a great starting point for that.

For now, I suppose we can at least be thankful we’re getting an AU version of that family with House of M.

I ran across this picture among the screencaps I have stored on my hard drive. This is from All-New X-Factor #1.

I was in arguments recently with another guy on Tumblr that didn’t like me criticizing Marvel or parts of All-New X-Factor. Among my criticisms, I said ANXF #2-6 treated Lorna very poorly, and things only started to improve for her with ANXF #7. Included in this was how it was Gambit who recruited the other half of the team, not the team’s designated leader – which was even worse in Danger’s case given Lorna clearly didn’t want Danger on her team when Gambit recruited her.

But of course, there are many things that WERE good about All-New X-Factor, otherwise I wouldn’t complain that Marvel didn’t give it proper marketing and support. Overarching interaction with Pietro, sister time with Wanda (ANXF #14), some of the spots with Gambit were good for Lorna.

That’s where this picture falls into place. I loved Lorna’s recruitment of Gambit here. She’s very cool, very composed, very intelligent and comes across as extremely business-savvy. I wanted to read this Lorna badly, and I’m happy we did get to see more of this Lorna starting with ANXF #7.

So, that’s all I wanted to say. I just wanted to share one of the moments I see as a highlight of Lorna’s time on ANXF. 🙂
