This is a case of Lorna as Magneto’s daughter being handled well, and I love it.

You know, I just realized something about this moment.
Lorna could have just used her powers to keep the gun floating and threatening Jace with it. Even if – highly unlikely – she didn’t have fine enough control to pull the trigger with her powers, Jace wouldn’t know that. She could threatened him with powers.
In this scene, Lorna chose to take the gun in hand and aim. She wanted that extra personal touch. That’s how much her time in prison and Jace’s past threats pissed her off.
I love Chaotic Good Lorna ™, who is a tortured soul, who has a very deep understanding of the world around her and is capable of SO MUCH LOVE AND COMPASSION despite a mental disorder that could rob her of all those things.
But I also love the idea of Chaotic Evil Lorna ™ that succumbs to the blinding fits of rage/mania and subsequently destroys e v e r y t h i n g.
