So yeah, about this.
Anyone can make these shirts, that’s pretty well known, but that’s not what matters. This shirt was made specifically as an answer to Disney and Marvel undermining the X-Men and trying to push the Inhumans as “replacements” for the X-Men. I found this because someone put it on a board about the X-Men and encouraged people to buy it, and nobody said anything dismissive about it.
This is not a grasp at straws, it is a warning shot and red flag. This is a very, very small look into Marvel’s future if the company does not change its ways for the better. It’s up to Disney and Marvel to decide if they want to fight a losing battle with fandom for the next 10-20 years.
The fans can help Disney and Marvel make a case for Fox either returning the film rights or making a better deal with Disney and Marvel… or they can push any kind of deal with Fox just that much farther from Disney and Marvel’s grasp. It all depends on whether or not Marvel wants Fox to be seen as the better company for the X-Men, which right now, they are.

I… think it’s kind of telling that when you have a comic book cover that people think is Scarlet Witch and Polaris, it ends up becoming one of the most popular images to be blogged.
It does a good job of demonstrating the folly of Disney and Marvel’s current attitude toward the sisters, and by extension the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises themselves.
While interest in Scarlet Witch is high because of the films, Polaris boosts that interest even higher. The X-Men benefit the Avengers. They offer characters, storylines and dynamics nothing can replace, not the Inhumans, not whole new characters. Marvel could have taken advantage of that to show other dimensions of value to characters like Wanda.
Instead, Disney and Marvel decided that ruining franchises where Fox’s own the film rights is worth destroying the connections, relationships, characters and concepts beneficial to the Avengers that come with it.
They are Pyrrhic victory incarnate. They may lose way more money, storyline and character development potential than they will ever gain with their current path even if they somehow got the film rights back, but I suppose it’s all worth it for the chance to spite Fox and maybe cause a few tens of thousands of dollars worth of lost sales for Fox at the box office.
If Disney and Marvel are lucky. And their behavior doesn’t result in increasing Fox’s box office take instead.

Hey guys just got beat the fuck up by hi-im-dan. I’ve been in an abusive relationship for quite a while now and it’s only ever been emotional and mental abuse. But today he crossed the line and placed his hands on me. I had to keep locking myself in the bathroom to escape him hitting me and I would text my friend Michelle. I finally sent her a picture of my face and she called the police to come. Thank God she did because at one point he threatened to throw me off the balcony. He kicked me, punched me repeatedly, and bit me multiple times. I hate to post personal information but I need you guys to boost this shit and expose his abusive manipulative self. He’s a horrible person and everyone should know. The cops came and saved my life and arrested him but he’s gonna be out soon. I don’t want his experience on tumblr to be a good one anymore. He needs to be exposed. Please boost this!
I have also been in an abusive relationship with hi-im-dan . We dated for about 7 months, during which time he emotionally, sexually, and in one instance physically abused me. I’m so sorry to hear that this happened to you.
I was lucky enough to get away from hi-im-dan before any physical abuse was done to me, but I too was a victim of his sexual and emotional abuse. He once warned me of his abusive tendencies, but that doesn’t excuse anything that has ever been done or will be done. Because of him I’m seeking therapy and have dark thoughts that effect me and my health. This has to end here. It’s disgusting that so many have been effected by his cruel behavior. This needs to spread as much as possible.
