No. Just no. Marco is just a replacement for Alex cause X-men is part of Marvel. The gifted is Fox. So this is disgusting

I already know that bc I’m a great Polaris fan but for God’s sake… Lorna and Alex relationship is the most unhealthy relationship ever written in comics history. Marco is the most perfect galán de telenovela in comparison to Alex.

@salarta

Thanks for tagging me in.

I wouldn’t assume Havok with Polaris is the most unhealthy relationship in comics (thinking of Ms Marvel getting raped by an entity to make her give birth to it, for example), but it’s definitely one of the top 10. I’m also sure it’s one of the few holdouts that @marvelentertainment continues to persist in using at a time when they’re trying to look progressive.

But, a lot of that is because I’m pretty sure Marvel hates Polaris’ potential and wants to undermine her, so…

I’m supportive of Eclipse/Marcos because while he has the same base powers, he’s a new character, and that means the show has a solid chance of not perpetuating the problems Marvel keeps eagerly diving into.

Also, Havok not being on Gifted has nothing to do with him being “a replacement” and “part of Marvel.” He’s an X-Men character and part of First Class. The show simply didn’t use him, and I am thankful as fuck they didn’t. It further shows why I should give Fox tons of respect and support their having the X-Men rights, especially after X-Men Blue #8 and #9 and shoving Havok into every damn bit of character development Lorna ever gets to have.
