I still love this variation. 🙂 She retains a variation of her iconic costume, gets the secondary color she really needs to help her aesthetic, the metal grey does an excellent job of calling back to her magnetic manipulation capabilities, and she looks more like a powerful warrior wearing battle armor. If Marvel’s considering a modified design, I hope they go for Anka’s.

I would love to see Polaris with short hair.

Personally, I think Lorna wouldn’t look as good sticking with short hair as a regular look. I feel like the long hair adds to her particular regal, powerful aesthetic.

But, there’s nothing wrong with short hair at all, and I’d certainly be open to it… as long as she’s wearing some variation of her iconic costume. Or very thorough efforts are taken to make people aware it’s Lorna and she has short hair now. Otherwise, there’s a big risk that casual readers will assume it’s a completely different character rather than Lorna. People are currently used to her having long hair.
