Lorna dane! @salartas account reminded me of how badass she is i figured i draw her! Line art is a bit sloppy it is 3am anyway. Ah anyway heres a quick little headshot of polaris!!
It looks great to me! Thanks for the shout-out, and I’m glad I got you to think about Lorna some more and inspired you to draw some art of her.
THE 100 GREATEST X-MEN OF ALL TIME
For anyone wondering, Polaris is #38, beating out a lot of other characters who’ve been granted a lot more attention and use than she has.
Scarlet Witch isn’t on the list, while Quicksilver is. I don’t know what the reason for it is, but I can see both preference and not considering her enough of an X-Men character as possible reasons.
for some reason, I was inspired to draw this X-Men team selfie last September. It was a lot of work because I was ambitious enough to include 18 characters (makes you realize just how many X-Men there are)… I have a doodle idea, just need to figure out how to execute it
Looking great! I like Lorna being closer to Storm in this instance.
Right now, it seems like her only chances may be either a TV show or a film that isn’t part of the main X-Men films. Singer clearly doesn’t want to use her, and Marvel both can’t and probably wouldn’t even if they could.
I’m not saying not to ask for it or that there’s no hope for her to ever have a role. It’s always a good thing to push for something that’s wanted, and circumstances can always change for the better. I’m only trying to point out how things are at the moment. Despite circumstances, I still hope Lorna gets to be represented in live action some day.
