Kicking off the new semester with a new pair of kicks, my Ladies of Marvel heels!! They incidentally ended up kind of Carol/Wanda-y, bc that’s just what I had, but NO BIG DEAL WORKS FOR ME. Tried to include a good variety on here based on what I had access to, so I managed Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, Wanda Maximoff, Lorna Dane, Melissa Gold, Storm, Laura Kinney (as Wolverine), Gwen Stacey (as Spider-Gwen), Ms America Chavez, Nico Minoru, Kamala Khan, Jennifer Walters, Doreen Green, Kate Bishop, Janet van Dyne, Jane Foster (as Thor), Alison Blaire, Patsy Walker… I think that’s it?? I know it’s not EVERY AWSOME LADY in Marvel (hell, I’ve COSPLAYED ladies that didn’t make the cut), but I managed a decent amount of depth with what I had o/!! (pst @almondmocha)

Very cool! It’s rare for me to think much of footwear, but this is an exception.

Vapor cocktails were a hit in space long before they ever were in California and New York, as Lorna Dane (AKA Polaris) demonstrates in X-Men: Emperor Vulcan #1. Rachel Grey-Summers (AKA Marvel Girl) likes to stick to tradition, though, with shots of liquor. Somebody get this drunk woman a cheeseburger! Oh, they don’t eat meat on The Clench Worlds’ Standing Still? Good for them!

For some reason, I never noticed Lorna’s drink in this panel until now. I only noticed their dialogue because at the time, they’d been in space and out of the X-Men and Marvel events (and Earth) WAAAY too long.

Vaping is a perfect match for Lorna, though, IMO.
