Civil War: House of M #4
If nothing else I can dream
I can dream
I’ll never tell never tell
All I’ve seen
Right in front of me
Like the ghost of every thing that I could be
Pretty much how I feel these days.
“Hello, child. I was drawn here by the magnetic pulse you unleashed. Your power manifested far earlier than it should have. Unusual, but not unpredictable. But you’re not quite ready for those abilities or the life that I have to offer you. You require a “normal” environment. Jason here will, via illusions, rewrite your memories.” —X-Factor #243
@salarta Who do you think in your opinion is the best writer for Lorna? I want to look into reading some more stuff with her.
Presently, I think Chuck Austen wrote her best, but I have to note that there were some issues at spots (e.g. Lorna blaming Annie and not Havok for being left at the altar), and there were problems elsewhere within his run. She still came off best in the run.
I also highly praise the brief Exiles (volume 2) run by Jeff Parker. It’s an alternate universe version of Lorna, but it’s still great stuff.
A lot of Lorna’s history, including recent history, is plucking good moments and arcs out of runs. Like I’d recommend people read X-Factor #243 and I think it did great with Lorna’s origin story, but I wouldn’t recommend people read the X-Factor series as a whole including when she’s on it. That’s all personal opinion, though, of course.
I’m currently of the view that Lorna would likely be better served with a female writer. Not that male writers can’t write her, but the two male writers lately who have done more than one arc with her have shown problems that I think a female writer would be less likely to have.
Thanks for asking!

I think the account is for a hair stylist/makeup artist and they’re not the cosplayer too, but hard for me to tell.

Had to try all sorts of pictures before I got one that worked. g.co/arts/selfie #GoogleArts
