Portcon was a thing. I managed to throw these costumes together in two weeks, somehow. In light of everything else going on, I’m proud of these at least. And I look hot af.
Likin the Polaris!
Actual progress photos of Polaris besides me rambling on about patterns.
I really like how the overall look came out.
But even with the additional 3cm in length the shoulder rings are giving me…. this came out really short thanks to the pattern and ouch, my ladyparts are feeling it.
I’d probably be more excited and responsive to the “rambling” if I was a cosplayer myself, but this is looking fantastic! Nice work. I hope the tightness can be dealt with or loosens out.
All of these cosplay photos were posted by LeslieSalas over on deviantart. She’s cosplaying as Polaris, and the Scarlet Witch in the first photo is TanyaNoAtelier.
Be sure to pop on over to both their DA pages to fave the pics and maybe leave comments for them!
My first time cosplaying at an event, my first time making a costume nearly from scratch. Here I am as Polaris at Armageddon!
Nice! I like the Game of Thrones throne use at the end. A Lorna fan made a mock-up of that idea many years ago via Photoshop, but this is the first time I’ve seen anyone do something like it with fan work.
