When men imagine a female uprising, they imagine a world in which women rule men as men have ruled women.

I feel this is very important.

It’s been apparent to me for a while that most men can’t really imagine “equality.”  All they can imagine is having the existing power structure inverted.

I cannot decide whether this shows how unimaginative they are, or shows how aware they must be of what they do in order to so deeply fear having it turned on them.

Maybe it means both? Really though, I think the inversion thing is one part subconscious, one part for the sake of drama if it’s fiction. People tend to imagine in extremes in fiction, but it’s still telling that they have a hard time presenting female-dominant societies where women aren’t “rulers” because the focus is elsewhere.

I sometimes wonder if people who prefer the Russell T Davies era ever actually watched it.

I would rather have outlandish, shitty special effects than a horrible plot, which is what we’re stuck with now.

Davies cared about dynamic characters and really interesting plot lines while Moffat doesn’t give a fuck and has shitty cliché plots and shallow characters.

Davies actually kept me interested.

Good stories and characters > good graphics. Anyone that played video games with 3D graphics in the 90s knows this. There’s a reason a shitload of people still deeply love and respect games like Final Fantasy VII despite how the graphics component hasn’t aged well over the past couple decades.

As for Moffat, I don’t have much of an opinion. I kinda just stuck with it for about a season and a half because the quality of the writing was pretty good, but I still found everything just so bland. When you watched the Davies era Doctor Who, there was a very strong emotional investment in things that happened, and the only time I can think of in Moffat Doctor Who where I got the same feeling was when they went to the modern day van Gogh exhibit.

Why “good cops” don’t tell on bad cops: They lose their careers and are often harassed by their co-workers, until they quit. Create/Enforce mandatory reporting, and fire cops who fail to report the misdeeds of their co-workers.

This Black woman did the right thing and got punished for it. Hope it makes the #NotAllCops crowd happy to see an actual good cop, but notice their asses are not fighting for her pension. She’s the wrong color, amirite? They are too busy tweeting at us and filling our inboxes with their fake outrage.

^^^^^^^where are all these #BlueLivesMatter and #BlacksForNYPD suckers at for ACTUALLY good cops that stand up for what is right yet they get punished severely??? They are nowhere being it’s not about “blue lives” it’s about protecting white supremacy’s guard dog troop at all cost to keep order.

This is why I’m terrified to admit that I’ve been a victim of sexual assault.

Don’t fucking ignore this. Read every single one of these comments. This is the world we live in.

Fun fact: Men don’t get erections strictly when they’re aroused. You know what can trigger an erection? Fear. Adrenaline. Even fucking waking up in the morning.
People with penises can, in fact, be raped.

People are so fucking ignorant.
