Anyone that doesn’t know, this comes from Exiles vol. 2, which Marvel only permitted to last for 6 issues. This was after volume 1 ended with poor sales with a different writer.
The cancellation happened not too long after the merger between Disney and Marvel, which is one of many, many pieces of evidence built up over half a decade that make it clear Disney and Marvel are trying to undermine the X-Men franchise in the comics over an idiotic film rights spat with Fox.

I normally don’t like to reblog stuff with Havok included, but in this case, swimsuit made it worth it.

Agreed. It was much needed given its tone. People criticizing the cover were getting death threats and harassment, so I’m really glad the artist put their lives before his art. That’s not meant to be insulting in any way, it’s meant to be praise. A lot of creative types out there have trouble recognizing these things.

I welcome this as a cosplay for Lorna. It doesn’t seem unique enough for her, but it does look interesting in its own right and calls out to her tie to her father.
