Rachel Hurd-Wood as Lorna Dane by ClaLehane
I always did like these image manipulations showing how a live-action Lorna could look as played by various actresses. I’m sure many people do these things for many characters, but I still think the sheer volume of these pictures is verifiable proof of just how much people both like Lorna and want her in a movie.
Lots of new followers as of recently so just wanted to restate some stuff
- submit any head canons you want
- no incest
- nsfw headcanons are accepted but i will tag them as nsfw mention or something im sick of porn blogs following lol
- headcanons can be all kinds of things too like “oh this character looved footie pajamas when they were little”, etc.
- headcanons do not need ANY canon back up literally any bland/random/silly hcs are cool
- thanks for making this blog so great guys! 😀

Polaris
I’m more into her iconic costumes, but excellent work! She has especially fierce eyes.
Uncanny X-Men #-1
Lots of fun little facts in Uncanny X-Men #-1, presented by Stan Lee.
I dunno, it’s a great way to start a comic special I think.
Looking at your tags, yeah, that’s the biggest problem Lorna has. She’s a character from the late 60s, the second female X-Men member created and a woman that was originally more feminist than Jean, that Marvel treats like a random throwaway 90s character.
She’s been depicted a lot better lately, but Marvel’s use of her is still severely lacking. She was left off the anniversary amalgam covers for the X-Men franchise even though they had no problem including Havok. They made her a nameless cameo during AvX, and rather than actually use both Enchantress and Lorna during Axis, they opted to make Enchantress look more like Lorna on one of the variant covers. And of course, there’s no promoting big moments like Lorna’s origin story told or spending time with her sister that you know they would’ve done if it was about more “popular” characters like X-23, Rogue or Havok.
Hopefully Lorna on Magneto #18 – #20 and in Secret Wars House of M will be the start of Lorna finally getting due respect for her long history with the X-Men franchise. What I’ve seen of it so far looks very exciting, and it looks like Marvel’s actually promoting this when they weren’t willing to promote X-Factor #243 or any of All-New X-Factor (they especially went out of their way to keep people from reading All-New X-Factor #14).
Today’s warm-up doodles (●´⌓`●)

I honestly feel like this is the most “Lorna” photo I have, and I just wanted to share it with you all.

As always, while I may not like Polaris the actual character wearing stuff too far from her iconic costume right now, I love this cosplay you did nonetheless. It looks absolutely amazing, so good that I seriously could be fooled into thinking this was an on-set costume for an in-the-works TV show if I didn’t know otherwise.
Thanks for sharing this one like the previous ones you’ve shared. 🙂
Havok’s romantic relationship with Polaris much healthier and less complicated than it was in the comics. Also, in a gender role reversal, it is Polaris who wears the pants in the relationship.
I would be okay with this, after a decade or more of Lorna not in relationship with him at all. Given how awful the relationship was in its treatment of Lorna most of the time.
