“This is not how it ends. I will not be a footnote to history. I will not be the woman who was Thor for five days and then fell. This is not how I die.

I am Thor, Goddess of Thunder. And no matter what happens today, I know this is not the end of my story.

I don’t know what happens in Age of Ultron and normally don’t reblog stuff like this, but I got a good laugh out of this one. 🙂

It’s Sunday night and I’m slightly intoxicated, so I’m just going to say: to all the Polaris fans I follow, that follow me, and that I’ve reblogged and liked Lorna posts of lately, thanks for being kickass and sharing and spreading Lorna.

I complain about Marvel and things the company does a lot, but the activity of the fandom is so promising and really makes me so happy in ways Marvel never could no matter what they did. The kind of fandom I’ve seen is something a company could never make happen by sheer aggressive marketing. It’s genuine and organic. I discovered Polaris purely by accident stumbling around the Marvel wikia one day in 2009, after two decades of not knowing she existed at all. To see this much activity and growth in just 5-6 years is truly amazing.

In other words, thank you for being awesome. 🙂

Something that has been really bugging me with the whole ‘Magneto isn’t Wanda and Pietro’s father’ situation is that it means Lorna isn’t their sister “anymore”. It really upsets me, specially after All New X-Factor, because we really had a chance to see Pietro’s relationship with her building up, and even Wanda showed up to hang out with her sister. So, if we really have to accept this, all I can possibly ask for is for the three of them to tell each other that none of this matter and that Lorna is truly a sister for them, independently of the fact that they share the same father or not. I just need this.

While that would be nice, it’s still the three actually being siblings by sharing Magneto as their father or bust for me. Spirit-brother and spirit-sister isn’t the same thing as being actual blood siblings.

If you’re not actually blood-related, you can just easily say “we’re not sisters anymore” if there’s a conflict and be done with it, whereas being blood relatives means their ties need to be acknowledged and worked with even if they were to be in conflict with each other.
