So, I’m confuse with the new retcon. That’s mean Wanda and Pietro aren’t sibilings of Lorna Done? And who the hell is their “new sister”, Lumi? I mean, I like her design but Superspeed and Chaos Magic at the same time?
Long story short, Disney and Marvel are mad that Fox has the film rights to the X-Men and Disney/Marvel don’t get to make as much money as they’d like. Because of that, Disney/Marvel are under the delusion hurting the X-Men franchise in the comics will force Fox to make a new deal.
Part of that effort is to force that retcon on Wanda and Pietro and pull a different one out of nowhere to separate them from their family and the rest of the X-Men franchise.
As terrible as Marvel is about that, we can at least look forward to Lorna spending time with her father on Magneto #18 – #20, starting tomorrow.
I’ll also be keeping my eye on Secret Wars House of M. Everyone in the Magnus family had a pivotal, meaningful role in House of M. What Marvel does and doesn’t do with and to that universe and its characters will speak volumes about Marvel as a whole.

New Thor’s identity is… Duke Nukem! Yes, Duke Nukem, the character best known for being a ridiculous macho man stereotype accused (perhaps rightfully so) of being sexist is in fact the powerful female Thor!
Or maybe it’s Iron Man. Kinda hard to tell depending on which version of Iron Man we’re talking about here. 🙂

Amazing! And I’m assuming both that those are piercings on the bottom lip, and that she had them already.
Regardless, I’ve always liked the idea of Lorna with piercings, just like I’ve always liked the idea of Lorna using her powers to create her costume. It seems incredibly apt for her to have piercings.
“Labyrinth” is one of my favorite movies of all time. Towards the end, Our Heroine Sarah realizes that her adversary-slash-paramour Jareth The Goblin King has only a silver tongue and esteem damaging words in his arsenal. With the magic words (above), she breaks his magic crystal ball of spying and Jareth disintegrates in a flashy fashion fit for David Bowie.
What does this have to do with comics you ask? I was struck by how much imagery Labyrinth and Barbara Gordon shared (clocks, shiny round lenses, goblins, ect), and really wish they shared just a little more.
