1) I love that fans are starting to use terms like “magnet babe” for stylin cosplay and “magnet baby” for her as Magneto’s daughter, they show such endearment. 2) These cosplays really are awesome, and I’m ecstatic fans are still pairing the sisters in cosplay. Is it safe to assume the woman on the far right is supposed to be a more casual, maybe punk Polaris?

There were several I wanted to include, like original Harley Quinn, but limits are limits.
In case many of you are beyond upset about Marvel’s retcon involving you-know-who, keep in mind that it only happened in one out of many universes in the Marvel Multiverse.
There’s always the Ultimate Comics, the 90s X-Men cartoon, X-Men: Evolution, and Wolverine and the X-Men. Universes where Magneto is still the father of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch!
Don’t let the recent antics of Marvel get you down! And besides, with Secret Wara going around, who knows? Maybe this retcon could be short-lived!
While I appreciate the effort to make things lighter and happier,
Ultimate Magneto and Polaris are both dead, the three cartoons have been
over for a long time, and House of M is likely either not going to last
after Secret Wars or get screwed over by editorial and executive
mandate.
I think the chances of Marvel realizing the error of their ways are fairly slim right now because it requires them to realize 1) how they’re only hurting themselves, and 2) how the decision actually gives Fox a golden opportunity to win over tons of fans Marvel’s now alienated. I expect it’ll take new leadership on some levels at one or both companies before things get better.
