I’m pretending this is a shipping suggestion, because I have the ability to do that.

It’s always best to wait a couple of years before getting attached to any family members who have been retconned into existence.

I’m sorry that is is not animated. I don’t have a good program on my computer. I’ll do what I can, or find someone to collaborate with.
Anyway, this is Peridot with Polaris, the daughter of Magneto. She can also control metal and has green hair. I thought that they were a good match so I drew them and switched their outfits.
I tried making Lorna in SU style but I’m not sure if it turned out well.

When will I cosplay as Polaris
I’m gonna say that even without the headgear and lipstick, you’re doing so right here. 🙂

As Hawkeye is about to get eaten by Fin Fang Foom, Baron Erik Magnus wants to stay behind and watch him suffer.
– House of M v2 #2

I was checking information about issues of Uncanny X-Men on the Marvel wikia. Issue #2 said Lorna was mentioned. Because I wanted to know how she was mentioned, I went ahead and bought a digital copy of that one issue.
This is the entirety of Lorna’s comic book presence in 2016 to date: an honorable mention for smelling better than Monet.
It’s not as random as it might look at first. This is possibly a call back to shortly before Malice possessed Lorna, when Chris Claremont wrote Lorna poorly by having her terrified and crying for Havok to rescue her from Sabretooth. In other words, one of the historically worst depictions of who she is and her potential.
I don’t know how other people feel, but in Lorna’s specific case, I think it’s possible to revisit old storylines where she was treated poorly and transform them into something better. Purely as a hypothetical example, we can find out Lorna’s mind was already being heavily manipulated at the time to make her act so out of character. “Make this strong badass woman act like a terrified damsel in distress” has certain obvious problems to it, but it’s one way to repair damage after the fact.
However, it all depends on how things go. There’s also a lot of risk that things could go south, too.
That said, this line and its use of Lorna adds a little more weight to the idea that the current arc’s villain could be Mister Sinister with a new group of Marauders… with Polaris in that group. It pairs with the final Magneto solo arc having Riptide mention Lorna’s time as Malice.

The Magnetic Miss Lorna Dane! Now as a charm so I can keep her with me more often
Very cool necklace. 🙂
