just want to add on that the writer has been very apologetic and understands he fucked up, this has to be the first time I have ever seen a comic writer actually apologize (without half-assing it) for antisemitism.
he also stated he’d try to fix this for the trade release im pleasantly surprised at how graciously he handled this i was scared it was gonna be another S*pncer situation

I’m really glad to see that Christos Gage acknowledged the mistake, apologized, and plans to try to fix it in the future. It’s sometimes not easy for a writer to admit to mistakes. That’s a statement I can attest to with personal experience; the one and only fic I’ve written that I actually took offline and apologized profusely for having written had the same problems only worse (and focused on a Native American character rather than a Jewish Holocaust survivor).
The sad thing, though, is I can definitely see that issue becoming a “collector’s item” with a higher sell price.
