Charts from OKCupid, showing how straight women and men rate each other based on ages. For women, the men they find most attractive are roughly their own age. For men, the women they find most attractive are roughly the same age – 20 to 23 – regardless of the age of the man. (538)

Men are creepy pieces of shit, details at 11.

Joke’s on the world, I find “MILFs” like Queen Zeal and Sindel highly attractive, often moreso than characters in their late teens/early 20s.

“old tumors”, “gene trash”, “he really broke the mold with you two….so the horrid results would not be repeated.” I’m getting tired of reading about the horrible and disgusting new origins of Pietro and Wanda. Please tell me the big reveal is next issue, because I don’t have patience for these types of build ups anymore…they always end up disappointing me.

luminosa is nothing but a shitty snub at Lorna fans.

Yup, this is Brevoort giving Lorna fans the middle finger.

“The truth of who you are would destroy you”…not just them but also the readers 🙂

Seriously, with the way it’s been talked up, Pietro and Wanda’s origin better be super crazy. If it ends up being the High Evolutionary had sex with Magda, or that they’re test tube babies, I’m going to be very let down

this never gets old

I met the creator of this a month ago and he said he got a lot of hate mail from dudebros who thought that he was a woman complaining about these problems.

Gold.

Bolding mine.

As GamerGate’s been going on, I regularly wonder if I’d be getting a lot more harassment and hate (meaning: any) if I pretended I was a woman. The few times I got tweets on Twitter that could count as harassment, they assumed I was female.

Here’s a fun game! Guess which one was written by Feminist Icon Chris Claremont and which wasn’t?

I think a lot of the reason some people, especially certain people at Marvel, won’t give Lorna any kind of a chance to show her potential is because of their fandom for Claremont.

Claremont did a lot of great things for the X-Men franchise and it’s fair to say he made the X-Men franchise what it is today, but Lorna’s one of the black marks on his tenure. If they admit Claremont screwed Lorna over, then they have to admit that Claremont isn’t perfect and his vision for at least one of the characters was in poor taste.

Many people can’t stand admitting something like that. The only alternative they believe they have when confronted with such a truth is to convince themselves Polaris is a bad character that doesn’t deserve to have any opportunities.

Okay but the mutant detection software and tech has always wo— Ugh, Oh my fucking god. I hate them so much for this bullshit.

Ooohhh my fucking christ. If they’re going to INSIST on them not having Magneto for a father? WHY DO THEY NEED TO FIND THEIR “REAL” PARENTS AT ALL? They’re both like, in their 40′s at this point. If this STUPID BULLSHIT STORY has to happen, can it at least be about them learning and growing as individuals, or… no? No? That would fall under “Character development”? So no? Got it. Whatever.

Eat a dick, Marvel.

Does Marvel think Pietro and Wanda searching for their parents is compelling story telling?

There’s a reason people were glad that Magneto was the father for a long time it’s because he was a good character and it was a interesting relationship unlike the shitty characters before him they pulled out of their ass to be built for the sake of that story and nothing else.

It’s Brevoort and Remender, backed by Disney because of the film rights spat with Fox. They’re dicks. They’re all dicks. It’s why I’m not watching any Marvel films and actually going out of my way to see Fox films now. Also why the only Marvel comic books I’m willing to buy are X-books and ones with Polaris in them. Marvel doesn’t deserve my money as long as they’re pulling this, and Marvel has demonstrated Fox deserves it more.
