Sisters!
Wanda Maximoff and Lorna Dane! I am Wanda and Lorna is modeled by the beautiful asexualmagneto! The Maximoffs are my favorite comic family and I had so much fun dressing as them and really enjoyed the movie! Both costumes were made by me – the Wanda dress is a fully lined 100% wool garment and the X-Factor suit is digitally designed and printed.

If Lorna’s in it with a meaningful role (meaning, not just a bit of hair like the last panel) and she’s treated well, then I’ll buy it.
No, I don’t want to talk about the movie but at least my mutant family was Adorable last night ❤️❤️

Uncanny X-Men #-1
Lots of fun little facts in Uncanny X-Men #-1, presented by Stan Lee.
I dunno, it’s a great way to start a comic special I think.
Looking at your tags, yeah, that’s the biggest problem Lorna has. She’s a character from the late 60s, the second female X-Men member created and a woman that was originally more feminist than Jean, that Marvel treats like a random throwaway 90s character.
She’s been depicted a lot better lately, but Marvel’s use of her is still severely lacking. She was left off the anniversary amalgam covers for the X-Men franchise even though they had no problem including Havok. They made her a nameless cameo during AvX, and rather than actually use both Enchantress and Lorna during Axis, they opted to make Enchantress look more like Lorna on one of the variant covers. And of course, there’s no promoting big moments like Lorna’s origin story told or spending time with her sister that you know they would’ve done if it was about more “popular” characters like X-23, Rogue or Havok.
Hopefully Lorna on Magneto #18 – #20 and in Secret Wars House of M will be the start of Lorna finally getting due respect for her long history with the X-Men franchise. What I’ve seen of it so far looks very exciting, and it looks like Marvel’s actually promoting this when they weren’t willing to promote X-Factor #243 or any of All-New X-Factor (they especially went out of their way to keep people from reading All-New X-Factor #14).
