Day #[I don’t know I don’t count them] I still miss All-New X-Factor.
I felt there were some problems with it, especially in its treatment of Lorna from ANXF #4 to #6, but it WAS getting better starting from ANXF #7 onward. ANXF #12 and #13 were great for Pietro, and #14 was excellent for Lorna and Wanda. Technically, ANXF #3-6 were probably good for Gambit, but how they handled Lorna makes it hard for me to say much about them.
Going with the trend of gradual improvement, I would’ve liked for ANXF to continue. There was a lot of potential behind the idea of a corporate-owned team, and this team specifically, but it didn’t really find its place before it got canceled. I still think it could’ve made for a good cartoon.

I guess this is my way of dealing with the fact that one my favorite relationships in the Marvel Universe is no more 🙂
We still don’t know anything yet. Marvel is fooling with us and so to me this will continue to be the brother and sister.
Marvel forced the retcon entirely because they’re mad about how Fox has the film rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises. Marvel wants a better deal, and in their short-sighted ignorance, Disney and Marvel have decided trying to ruin those franchises in every way possible on THEIR end is the way to go.
Which, of course, means splitting up the Magnus family – because they somehow think changing those relations will hurt Fox, when it’ll only help them.
Given that Marvel’s trying to ruin something amazing all because of a little money spat with Fox…
The forced retcon is invalid, and I reject it. Wanda and Pietro are still Magneto’s kids. Lorna is still their half-sister. Luna is still Magneto’s granddaughter, Wiccan and Speed are still Magneto’s grandsons, and the twins are and always will be mutants.
If the legal rightsholders of these characters don’t like it, then that’s too bad. I’ll be here waiting for when Disney and Marvel decide they’re ready to be better, more intelligent companies.

And in actual continuity, at least as far as I see it.
Unlike retcons in past decades, this one was done purely for greed-motivated reasons. Fox owns the X-Men film rights, Disney and Marvel don’t like the current deal with Fox and want a better one, so they’re greedy and short-sighted enough to think ruining the family in the comics will somehow do anything other than help Fox.
For me, Marvel stopped writing Wanda and Pietro shortly before Axis. Anything post-Axis is invalid until they’re back as Magneto’s kids and Lorna can spend time with Wanda and Pietro again. It’s especially bad since there’s a ton of potential to Lorna and Wanda and Marvel’s just throwing it away over a film rights spat.

Look what you’ve done to us, Daddy. Pietro was right… you… you ruined us before we even had a chance. Why would you treat your own children this way? Babies. Why? Because you actually think you’re better than everyone else. The arrogance of you. You think because w’re mutants we’re better than them. That we deserve to rule. That’s what you wanted and I gave it to you. But look…look what it becomes! Even when you get what you want, you’re still this horrible man. We’re not the next step, we’re not gods. We’re freaks!! Look at us, Daddy!!!! We’re freaks!! Mutants!! You chose this over us and you ruined us!!! Daddy…
I still think a return of gold as a secondary color for her would be good IF Marvel started making more use of her, and I know at least a few people that want to see the skull return. Skull’s return would be good with either a harder attitude or a return of Pestilence, either way.
