I’m aware of the covers! So let me just say: while I’m glad Lorna is in something, it stands out to me that that something STILL isn’t a solo, mini, oneshot or leading a team book.

Havok got to lead a team after getting built up on Blue at her expense, and he didn’t have a film, TV show, etc. But Lorna, a character who’s becoming fairly popular, who’s starring on a show, is just a member of a team and/or ensemble of characters for a book led by Bishop. And nothing else.

Let me be clear. I am not saying Bishop shouldn’t have this book. I’m saying Lorna should have her own separate book too. And that she’s deserved it for decades, but especially after the past few years.

So maybe Prisoner X will be amazing. Maybe it’ll be the best she’s been written. Won’t know til it’s out. But I’m not jumping for joy because even if it’s her best writing ever, she is still in essence a supporting character to Bishop’s story. And not getting her own story told after having so much robbed from her through Blue.

I think it’s safe to say now that I’m officially back! I’ve tested WordPress, I’ve found ways to be able to stay on the free plan and still post images via imgur, and I also have what I need to post youtube videos and tweets – the latter being something I couldn’t do on Tumblr.

I don’t know how soon I’ll post again after this one. I’m in the middle of some things. But the key is now, I know what I’m doing and able to do for my posts, so I’m fully prepped for the next time I have something to put out there.

I’ll be frank. I fully expect I’ll have much less activity on WordPress than on Tumblr. Changing to new platforms always does that. But, after the adult content ban that Verizon pulled, I think it’s very necessary.

This is a test of if I can get around WordPress not allowing plugins for Imgur posts.

Progress has been rather slow. I’ve been in the process of customizing and learning what I can and can’t do with a free plan. Link to Tumblr here.

We’ll see how things go from here. I need to see about getting an add-on to post imgur posts here instead of using the free plan, which can’t seem to handle much after importing.

This is a minor update.

I have a WordPress set up. I’m having difficulties with importing. The importer stopped at about half my posts, I suspect because my free account hit the media limit. I’m not going to pay to increase storage.

I was told a second run at the importer will mean it only brings over what hasn’t been brought over, skips stuff already done. I’m hoping it doesn’t try to re-upload images/gifs/vids if the post they were in is still present.

My NSFW blog is all done since I did very little with it. It’s my regular one I’m having problems with.

I’m in mid-process of transferring my yahoo E-mails to gmail, and my Tumblr blogs to WordPress. Once I have everything set up with the WordPress, I’ll make a post here.

If for some reason I can’t by then (e.g. blog gets deleted by Tumblr), I have a Twitter account with the same handle. I’ll eventually tweet out my new WordPress sites.

I’m not absolutely wedded to WordPress as the platform, by the way. It’s just the place that comes easiest to mind to transfer content.

My plan is to make my main posts on WordPress, then share the posts to Tumblr.
