Because it’s the core cause of everything happening in the game, much like the viruses of Resident Evil.
That’s probably known already, but original post sounds like it’s suggesting its level of use is strange.
I’m watching TBFP Parasite Eve and I immediately love the main character. Pretty girl in an evening dress goes to see an opera with some dork and monsters start attacking and she just pulls out a gun cause she’s NYPD and that’s basically how the game starts. I really like her because she isn’t typical, she’s normal and human and convincing.
Exactly the reason I’m demanding Squeenix make a real Parasite Eve 3 starring real Aya Brea. Aya as she’s supposed to be is too awesome to be discarded as she has been.
