like seriously, @salarta prompted me Lorna + Jewish holidays ages ago and I’m just know getting around to it, and Zaide babysitting Billy and Tommy while the intermediate generation is at shul is SO MUCH FUN
And now I just learned what zaide means (if I looked it up right). 🙂 It translates to elder, right? Please correct me if I’m wrong. This is why I’m looking forward to others’ fic of the family for Jewish holidays. I know so little about Jewish culture and traditions, I’m afraid I’d butcher them if I tried with how little I know right now, but there’s so much potential there.
